Story
Through my employers I have been given the great opportunity to participate in the London Marathon.
I have tried to get in through the ballot system for the last three years but was unsuccessful. As Balreed are supplying equipment for the event 10 places were up for grabs and I was one of the lucky 10!
The London Marathon has always been something I have wanted to do and now I have 3 and a bit months to prepare!
I was under no pressure to raise money for any charity but I thought since I have been given this great chance I should try to help a fantastic charity that is close to my family's heart. My cousin Tom Wyatt died from Meningitis in March 2007. He was just 17 years old. The least I can do is raise a little money and some awareness of this horrible disease.
Please give what you can and thank you for looking at my page.
I do not have a target finish time. I just want to run the whole way and soak up everything on the day. Hopefully Tom will be looking on me and I will do him proud.
Thanks
