It all started as a result of me deciding to go jogging one April's evening, which if I'm honest, was mainly so I could avoid having to listen to the second half of a tense Barnsley v Burnley match during our promotion push. I began with the running just as a way of keeping fit, but gradually took it more and more seriously.
Since signing up for this marathon, my training plan has included distances ranging from 3 miles all the way up to 22 miles.
On a more serious note, like many others, I have had friends and relatives who have been affected by Cancer, so have dedicated my marathon effort to raising money for Cancer Research UK. Please... any donations will be greatly appreciated!
