I am running the cardiff half for the meningitis now charity. Meningitis now do fantastic work for families who have lost loved ones or whose loved ones have been affected by this shocking illness. 

As a family we have seen first hand how devastating this illness can be. At the age of just 57 my father Alan was cruelly taken from us due to this illness, the speed in which meningitis takes control is truly frightening, and the charity really needs help to fund the projects and work they do to help families come to terms with their loss or the effects that meningitis has on survivors.
