Story

Last year contained two moments which have had an enormous impact on me. Firstly, I was challenged to complete the coast to coast ride. An iconic route cycled by hundreds of people every year, usually over 4 or 5 days. But how about doing it in just one day? How could I resist! I am now up to my neck in getting in shape and learning the strange world of MAMILs.

I also attended the funeral of a friend's young child, William Crook. As a parent of young children I was amazed at not only the dignity with which William's parents carried themselves on such an emotional day, but also the great love and happy memories William brought to all who met him.

William received amazing care at Great Ormond Street Hospital and, as I strongly believe that everything possible should be done to make life better for children, I can't think of a better charity to ride for. I hope you agree and can donate for this great cause.
