Fundraising for Renewable World
Story
Hey everyone, as an ambassador for “Renewable World”, I am delighted to announce a new challenge that I hope will help many of the poorest people on this earth.
My friends at Acre Properties in Chiswick are the catalyst for trying to raise these funds. I suggested a tough mudder. They laughed, then panicked, then told me they couldn’t do it - and here we are! This is the first time all of them are taking on such a challenge. It’s a big ask. It will be tough. But I am humbled that after hearing my many stories, they have chosen to raise money for Renewable World.
Those of you kind enough to follow me on social media will know that every penny raised for RW goes to the heart of the problem. I’ve see first hand in different countries how their expertise and funds help those who live in the most dire circumstances without means, hope, or options. It’s about giving them power, quite literally, both in providing sustainable energy, and in turn, giving them the power to control their own lives and destiny.
I’m excited to be joining Acre Properties on this adventure.

£5 can give 3 Nepalese villagers access to clean water for a year.
£10 can give a fisherman in Kenya access to energy for a year, allowing them to refrigerate their fish and demand a fair price.
£15 can give a Nepalese village access to clean, affordable and sustainable cooking gas for a year, preventing premature death from lung and eye disease.
£50 can buy a woman in Nepal an irrigation kit, enabling her to grow high value crops and improve her family's income.
£100 can give a family in Nicaragua access to solar power for a year, meaning they no longer have to pollute their home with toxic kerosene fumes and their children have light to study in the evening.
£500 can pay for business training for 3 communities in Nicaragua, allowing them to maximise the benefits from their solar energy units.
