We provide everyone with somewhere to turn when someone dies

Story

Thank you everyone! We've made the target through your support and generous donations.

You can see this pics here - I didn't chicken out, though it was mighty tempting.

And if you would still like to sponsor me, that would be great too.

I’m going to have half my hair cut off to be made into a ‘real hair wig’ that can be used by someone who’s lost their hair, for example through chemotherapy. Will you help me make a bit more of the occasion and sponsor me? I’ve picked as the lucky recipients (of your money, not my hair), the charity Cruse, which specialises in bereavement counselling.

I’m having my hair cut on 1 May (M’aidez!) and sending my hair to the firm Banbury Postiche.

Some of you have kindly made off-line donations - that's great too.

My colleague James wishes you to know he's pledging £5, multiplied by 5 if I get on the stage with the cast of musical "Hair", in fitting hippy garb. I presume he'll pay for my ticket.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
