Story

Although I dislike heights to the point I close my eyes on every rollorcoaster I go on, I am doing a tandem skydive in aid of St Michaels but I'm not doing it on my own..... My Darling Husband Mr Nigel Walton & my Little Sister Sarah Rolwand are joining me.

We NEED to raise a combined total of £1185 as we can jump on the 30th March

Even if you only give a £1 it all helps.

This is why we're doing what we're doing.....

In August last year my sister popped in to see me at home one evening and I could tell something was up. She broke into tears and said her dad had cancer, that was about as much sense as I could get out of her. We hugged, We cried but we knew it'd be alright , he was a strong and stubborn man who never let anything get him down or defeat him. After his mum passed away when he was 13 he'd done everything he could for himself and his father, then he meet my mother and had 3 children. He always tried his damned hardest to do everything he could for everyone. So cancer was a bit of a shocked!!
He fought threw it had a batch of chemo after spending a week in hdh sorting out his pain medication and he battled on. In themiddle of September i got a phone call to call round and i knew something wasnt right. I took him straight back to the hospital where he was admitted. He spent a weekk there then was moved to St Michaels where we all sat day in day out planning for a future we knew would never happen but didnt let on. We were going to scarborough for fish and chips together and he was going on holiday somewhere sunny as soon as he could.
Oct 7th we got the call to get there asap... I knew!! we spent all day there arguing with him to stay in bed as he wasnt well but he wouldn't listen, got up and got dressed. 9:50 that night he went but to that point he still fought it with every ounce of strenght he could.
St Michaels were fantastic in the last 3 weeks of his life. Stephen Rowlands 44years old with stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to his spine and that is why im raising money. Not just me but my hubby and my sister are doing a skydive for them to say thank you for there help and in memory of his passing and for anyone else whose lost someone to cancer, so please help us even if its only £1.
