We provide specialist palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Abigail Parkinson I am 25 years old from County
Fermanagh and I am aiming to raise £4,000 for the Northern Ireland
Hospice by cycling 350km in Cuba from Havana to Trinidad. This will take place from November 4th to November 14th 2022.

I have chosen to raise money for the Northern Ireland Hospice as the work they do here in Northern Ireland within the Hospice itself including the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice is incredible. I have attached some information on them below.

Our hospice care services both in the community and in our buildings provide high quality, person-centred, holistic palliative care. We support and care for infants, children and adults who are adjusting to life living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, up to their death and into family bereavement support.

Our work also extends to families, enabling us to offer guidance and support to family members as they travel the journey with their loved one.

Our vision is that infants, children and adults with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses and their families, receive palliative care of the highest standards, there by maximising their quality of life.
