BUPA Great Manchester Run 2012 · 20 May 2012 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Since I first set up this page, my grandad has sadly passed away. In his memory, we have set ourselves a challenge and have increased the target to £1000.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running the Great Manchester Run with my Dad on 20th May for the Alzheimer's Society. We have chosen this charity as my Grandad is a sufferer and it is horrible disease and an extremely worthwhile cause. Dementia can affect anyone and is caused by diseases of the brain, one of these is Alzheimer's. Dementia is terminal and there is no cure. Alzheimer's Society supports people to live well with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow. Any money you can spare would be massively appreciated :-)
Thank You xxx
