Story
Abdul Raheem is a 6-year old boy from Leicester. But he is always thinking about how to help others mashaAllaah. After watching a video about the events of our beloved Palestine, Abdul Raheem was moved in particular about the plight of Palestinian children and how their health is suffering.
Abdul Raheem heard about the incident of a young girl who needed to have emergency surgery. There were no facilities for her in Gaza, but after a lot of effort, she received a permit to go out of Gaza to a hospital; but her parents were not allowed to travel with her. So the young girl had to go to the hospital alone in a strange land. She survived her operation, but cried for days after the operation. Sadly, she suffered complications from her surgery. She died alone, crying for her parents, who were also crying for her in Gaza. Her parents received her dead body a few days later.
Abdul Raheem decided to help raise money for a hospital in Gaza that will allow children to stay near to their families and not rely on having to go outside of Gaza.
This will be a sadaqah jaariyah (ongoing charity) in'shaAllaah for all who contribute their charity to this valuable project.
Al-Khair is working hard and has established great relations with the people Gaza.
