Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) is a disability charity based in Surrey, with national reach. We have more than 85 years’ experience of developing innovative services which support almost 10,000 disabled people a year to achieve their potential and increase their independence.

Story

On the 17th april 2011, i will be running the Virgin London Marathon for QEF.

I have been closely afficliated with QEF for quite a few years now, working for them in many guises, fundraising and promoting their work.

QEF works with people living with physical and learning disabilities or acquired brain injuries to gain new skills and increase independence.  Whether it’s learning everyday life skills, rebuilding a life affected by brain injury, acquiring the skills to drive a specially adapted car or training for future employment QEF supports disabled people to achieve goals for life.

In an instance our lives can change, and anyone of us may need the help of a charity like QEF to help us continue to live independant, fulfilling lives.

so please support me, in supporting the wonderful work they do by sponsoring me today!

THANK YOU!
