 On the 15th May 2020 our world changed forever when we lost our beloved Dad suddenly, just 3 weeks short of his 60th birthday. Since then it has been confirmed that his death was caused by undiagnosed heart problems.
He was an incredible husband, father, poppa, son, brother, uncle and friend, and his passing has affected so many people. Our Dad was a fit and active man whose passions included cycling and scuba diving.
Those of you who knew our Dad will know that he was nothing if not thrifty! He loved a bargain and hated wasting money, so instead of accepting flowers in his memory we decided it would be a more fitting tribute to instead ask for donations to raise money for two charities, the Blackpool Carers Association & the British Heart Foundation. He was planning to do a long distance cycle to raise money for the BCA, so we have deemed it only fitting that the money is split between them and the BHF, a charity who works tirelessly researching heart conditions. We have decided the easiest way to do this is to create two separate Just Giving pages, one for each charity. This one will be for the Blackpool Carers.
Dad, we hope we can make you as proud of us as we are of you. This will be your legacy.
