Cardiff Half Marathon 2013 · 6 October 2013 ·

We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

Hi everyone,

I am running Cardiff Half Marathon in October for my sister, Sophie.

As I'm sure most of you are aware, Sophie has suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for the past 6 years. It affected one knee to begin with but now affects both knees, eyes and her jaw.

Last year Sophie was training to run a half marathon of her own, but could not run it due to the problems with her knees.

Seeing as Sophie could not run hers, I am running Cardiff Half for her.

Please donate anything you can to Arthritis Research UK to help find a cure for this disease.

Thank you very much x
