This is an amazing charity ! Money raised has helped fund a researcher to look at finding a cure for Kidney Cancer.  It has also helped to part fund a Cryo-therapy Machine for the Beatson/Gartnavel Hospital, used to treat Cancer patients.   My mum would be immensely proud of the work that is being done by this fantastic team but unfortunately she is not here to see it as she passed away from Renal Cancer in 2003 aged 52.  She fought bravely against the disease and did several10k runs to raise money for the cause.   My mum was very fit and I am sure she will be running every mile with me in spirit to raise money for Renal Cancer Research.
