It is hard to imagine what it would be like to have to leave home with little more than what you stand in to move to safety.

Over a million people, including many children, have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. They have left behind jobs, belongings and loved ones. Temperatures are freezing and they desperately need shelter, care and relief. Humanitarian needs for the children affected, in particular, are growing by the hour.

On Tuesday 8 March we are holding a sponsored walk for Plan International UK. Plan International are one of the 15 member charities of the Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) who are working on the ground now to help people as they cross the border from Ukraine. They have launched an urgent appeal to support this work and the money we raise will go to this.
