Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm going to be walking 106km around the coast of the Isle of Wight on the 23rd and 24th of August to raise money for the Children's Heart Federation.

I have chosen to support CHF because they are an amazing charity and this cause is particularly important to my family.

One in every 133 babies in the UK is born with a heart condition, over 5,000 babies per year. An estimated 500 -1000 children each year develop heart conditions after they are born.

For many families, the impact of a diagnosis can be devastating. CHF provide a vital service by giving information, emotional support, and equipment grants to the families of children with heart conditions. They also act as an umbrella body for many voluntary organisations that support families at a local level.
