Story
Hi everyone,
On the 14th, 15th, and 16th of October 2020 I am going to be walking 100km of the Cornish coastline to raise money for the 100 chimpanzees at Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Sierra Leone. It would mean so much to me if you helped me in my efforts to support the chimps, and donated however much you are able to.
The sanctuary has been closed since the beginning of lockdown, and without the vital income from visitors, they are struggling to finance the essential daily care of their 100 chimpanzees, including food, medication, and staff. As chimpanzee orphans from the bushmeat and pet trades are still being rescued and brought to Tacugama, more and more chimpanzees need to be cared for. It would be amazing if we could help the chimps adjust to their new life at the sanctuary by helping them receive the care they deserve.
I volunteered at the sanctuary last November, and have so much admiration for all the chimps and people at Tacugama. They work so hard for the chimpanzees, and deserve every penny they get. So please support me on my mission to feed 100 mouths by walking 100 kilometres. Thank you so much!!
