6 members of the Abbey Veterinary Group team completed the Coniston challenge which was a 10km hike to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston, a 12km mountain bike trail ride in Grizedale Forest and a 3km kayak on Coniston Water on 13th September 2014 in a time of 8 hours, 9 minutes and 59 seconds to help raise important funds for the Guide Dogs.
