My grandma, Diane Cross, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when she was just 30 years old. My mother was only 12.
My grandad who dedicated his life to caring for her passed away in 2009, shortly after my grandma was too unwell to live at home and moved into a nursing home.
My grandma eventually lost the battle against this cruel disease in 2012, she was only 61.
We are taking part in this event to raise awareness of MS which affects 100,000 people in the UK and to help raise money to find better treatment.
