Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As a typical bloke I very rarely feel the need to go to the doctor's. A few month ago my better half pointed out that I had a mole on my shoulder, which I laughed off and ignored. I felt fine therefore I was fine. However, she kept on telling me to go to doctor's. Eventually this became a near daily request and after promising to go for weeks and weeks I went to the doctor's. Today I've left hospital after my second biopsy to remove the skin cancer. I told the doctor this story and she laughed and said "good job you listened, she saved your life." It hits home when you hear that.
I'm lucky that the women in my life (Becky and me mam) who were there to bring my health to my attention but many men aren't as lucky.
