Fundraising for Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto
CA$350
raised of CA$1,000 target
We provide mental health support for people to live, work and belong in our community.

Story

My team and I at Blackbaud Canada are getting together to fundraise in support of the vital services provided by the Canadian Mental Health Association in Toronto.

Findings released from StatsCan's Survey on COVID-19 and Mental Health indicate that about one in five (21%) Canadian adults aged 18 and older screened positive for at least one of three mental disorders that were assessed: major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

We know this ongoing pandemic has had a devastating impact
on peoples mental health, and only exasperated the suffering of those who were already struggling. We'd like to do our part to help and I am asking for your support.

You maybe wondering, what can my donations do in terms of impact?

Well, a $150 provides an hour long session with a psychiatrist for an individual suffering from depression, anxiety, behavioral or other challenges.
