My mother, Jeannette Spatharou, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2016. In these 7 years, she has loved and laughed and lived life with her family, benefiting from some great care, in her home. But it is not easy  - and her story is only one of the better ones. 

She has always been active, empathetic and a real fighter and she would have wanted us to fight for her and for people like her. 

So this one is for you mom - even if you never get to know it :-). Thank you all
