Story
Wow. It’s been a busy 2022! And we have more groups planning to visit Braich Goch in 2023, as well as events for our local community and exciting new developments in our international networks.
We are partnering with Caisa Maloka in Colombia for mutual learning exchange and as an incredible agroecological and social research for action centre that provides space for communities and individuals to learn together and coproduce new knowledge.
Some highlights from our work at the Braich and beyond over the last 12 months...
- 97 people came to stay at the Braich in 2022 either to participate in our programmes, run their own, or just take a well earned break.
- We held 28 community events, with food, music, dancing and discussion in the 8 months we could open to the public, with almost 1400 attendances.
- 55 trainings were delivered, both for staff and the general public, in Participatory Methodologies, agroecology, Business and Strategy, Radical Safeguarding, food hygiene and much else.
- 25 people participated in our international programme as we formalised our ties with our sister project Caisa Maloka
