Story
AMA Waste Management Ltd has partnered with marine conservation charity, ORCA.
Supplying both the commercial and domestic markets AMA pride themselves on the responsible disposal of a variety of waste streams, diverting as much waste as possible to be recycled.
However, AMA recognise there is a global waste problem...
The partnership aims to educate the public about the volumes of plastic entering our oceans and raise awareness of the effect of irresponsible waste disposal on whales, dolphins and porpoises.
The UK and European waters are home to a third of the world's whales, dolphins and porpoise species. Many of these species aren't protected by international conventions, so their populations are being severely impacted by increasing human activity such as overfishing, pollution -plastics, destruction of their habitats and the impact of climate change.
Please help us raise money for a great charity and help protect our environment now and for the years to come!
