I have been running for almost 3 years now and gone from a novice that could barely run for 5 minutes without having to have a rest to competing in a couple of half marathons. I have really got the bug now and the next stage of my progression is to complete a full marathon. A full 26.2 miles for those of you that don't know and to remind myself how far I will have to run on April 10th. I would dearly love to have the support of my friends and family during the long training runs ahead and the race itself in April.

 I am running for the British Trust for Ornithology and charity based in Thetford. Their work is invaluable in understanding bird populations in a changing environment.  Knowing I am running for a worthy cause will spur me on to the finish line.
