Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Alan's JustGiving page.

Alan has wanted to run the London Marathon for many years. Last year a very dear friend Darren Evans, lost his battle to cancer. Darren was a keen sportsman, survived by his wife Sue and a son and daughter. Alan and his son Ben had planned to run the 2011 Virgin London Marathon in aid of Help the Hospices and in the memory of Darren: they began training last year.

Unfortunately late last year Alan's son Ben died. So Alan is now running the marathon for both Darren and Ben in aid of Help for Hospices.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
