Story
This page has now been set up in the memory of Tracey Holness, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday 18th March 2017.
Let the memories of Tracey be with us forever. A wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. Her friendship and the kind hearted women she was, will be missed and never forgotten.
Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade, because a loved ones gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is a memory, they'll live on in the heart.
In lieu of flowers, the family have kindly asked for a donation to Bone Cancer Research Trust. This can be done through this JustGiving Page, which goes directly to the charity. Or alternatively, there will be collection tins at the memorial service.
Cancer affects the lives of far to many people, not only does it effect the person diagnosed but all the people around them. While some may say that Tracey lost her battle with cancer, I disagree. Tracey fought throughout, never gave up and was so very strong till the very end.
Any donations no matter how small they are, all go towards in finding a cure for bone cancer, and helps make a difference through their research. With these donations, it helps saves lives and improve outcomes for people and their families who have been affected.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone that previously donated to this page, to help raise money and awareness of Bone Cancer Research Trust. Myself, my sister Katie, and Tracey's daughter, Shannon braved a cold December morning and ran 10km in Londons 2016 Santa Run (please check out the photos below). Thank you to everyone's generosity, we raised £845.00
Thank you
