Story

At A.C. Whyte teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, we have no problem rolling up our sleeves. Our values and ethos are incorporated into both our work and fun activities and we all like a challenge so we are taking teamwork to a whole new level and taking part in Tough Mudder. For those who don’t know, this is a 10-12 mile mud and obstacle course consisting of 500,000 litres of mud and 40 tonnes of ice. We will be conquering obstacles such as “Artic Enema”, “Birth Canal” and “Electroshock Therapy” to name a few. We can’t wait to give it our best shot even if it means being electrocuted, feeling claustrophobic and being covered in mud!

A big part of our job here at A.C Whyte is working in a community, we love to make a positive difference to people’s lives which is one of the many reasons why we chose Glasgow’s hospital for sick children. On average, 160,000 children from Scotland and beyond are treated at this hospital every year. We aim to raise £500 to help them to continue providing world class care. So please dig deep.
