Story
When we cross the road, we check for traffic to ensure we don't get hit and die. This is a simple proactive action to avoid death.
Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.
Yet, we're not taking basic proactive actions to change this.
We, the pupils of King Edwards VI Camp Hill school for boys have come together to help change this.
On 4th March, we're aiming to get 1,000 people to run 6,000 metres to raise money for the brilliant charity CALM.
Our and their goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for all men. CALM provides a free and anonymous helpline 0800 58 58 58 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) staffed by trained professionals.
Bereavement support and a website www.theCALMzone.net with inspiring content by men for men and campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and male mental health.
Help us save lives.
Talk to your loved ones and friends about these issues.
And please make a donation to our cause.
Thank you.
