Staff at the University of Worcester have chosen Cure Leukaemia as Charity of the Year for 2019 and will be running a number of staff-led initiatives throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for the charity.

Story

12 teams will be competing in the University Charity Challenge to raise money for Cure Leukaemia.   Each team has been given the target to raise £900 each.  80's Edition need your help!

80's Edition are Clair Palmer, Samantha Franklin, Rich Owens, Lizzie Oliver, Ian Bufton, Lucy Blunt, Simon Dutton, Malcolm Harding, Matt Smith, Hanna-Jade Warrington & Leah Bayliss 

This mad bunch from Facilities at the University of Worcester will be taking part in a 20 mile night walk across The Malverns, 16 miles in a canoe to Tewkesbury, a gruelling 20 mile cross country run, 20 minutes competitive basketball,  finishing with a water assault course.

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
