The Children's Appeal is a part of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, having already raised £178 000 for the cause - the funds have gone to things like consoles on wheels for kids on the wards, activity packs, reward stickers, and sensory rooms.

I'm going to be running the 4 or 5 miles from work every day through October to raise funds and have already had my lovely colleagues pledge their support.
