Story
As many of you may already know, Casey and I experienced two losses due to ectopic pregnancies on January 20, 2022 and again on May 27, 2022. Our journey to continue growing our family has not been easy, but the support from our amazing family and friends has been so appreciated.
Prior to those dates, ectopic pregnancies were just something we had heard of, but never thought could happen to us. During our experience, I discovered information, support groups, and so much more from the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust (EPT). We are forever grateful to this organization for equipping us with the knowledge we needed to understand, not only what my body was going through, but also my rights and the resources available to us.
Now, more than ever, we need to come together to recognize the 1 in 80. Through walking, cycling, and/or running 80 miles each in August, Casey and I are hoping to raise money and awareness for this incredible charity.
If you have the means, please donate, as any amount will go such a long way in ensuring families are provided with information and support, and the improvement of care for women who experience ectopic pregnancies.
Thank you so much!
xoxo,
Team Poncheri

Ectopic pregnancy is a common, occasionally life-threatening condition that affects around 1 in 80 pregnancies. Put very simply, it means an out-of-place pregnancy. We are the only charity that focuses on ectopic pregnancy to provide such extensive general information and peer support for anyone that has experienced the condition. There is a crucial need for The EPT. When someone has a suspected ectopic pregnancy or is diagnosed with the condition, they and their partners have many questions and worries. We are here to provide those affected with somewhere to go, providing information and support. People gain comfort from being among others who had had a similar experience and many healthcare professionals signpost families to our services so that we can be there in the days, weeks, and even months ahead.
