Turkey and Syria Earthquake

Thousands have died in devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria and multiple aftershocks have put thousands of children at risk.

On 6 February 2023, a powerful and deadly earthquake struck southern and central Turkey.

It occurred 34 km west of the city of Gaziantep at 04:17 local time causing widespread damage in Turkey and Syria.

More than 24,000 people are now known to have died after Monday's earthquakes in southern Turkey and northern Syria.

7Seas Holidays collaborated with Humanity First UK to provide aid to those who have been devastatingly impacted. Humanity First team are currently on the ground assessing the situation and the response required in coordination with UN agencies and local partners.
