Story
To follow on from the incredible support from the 24hour run in February 2021 and over £20k of donations later on the tracyprady2804 page - 2022 presents another opportunity to go bigger, bolder and beyond expectations!
TP23 foundation is collaborating with IntensiFIT for a joint purpose of recognising the incredible work the Christies Charity have done and continue to do to positively affect the lives of our family and friends. Jack, Simon & Sam will be taking part in this mammoth challenge.
Whilst TP23 continues to recognise the courageous Tracy Prady who sadly passed away on the 28/04/20 (see tracyprady2804 for more info) after an inspirational battle with Cancer, Tracy trained at IntensiFIT and the owner Simon has his very own 'Why', in his own words;
Tracy was a valued member of IntensiFIT and her early support, along side Jade, helped us grow as a gym community. I will always be personally grateful for this and to see Tracy’s positive attitude even when going through her battle was truly inspiring. Anything I can do in Tracys memory and for her wonderful family is an honour.
To further support the amazing work done by the Christie’s charity I will be running in memory of my partners sister, Verity. Unfortunately Verity passed away in 2018 after her battle with epithelioid sarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer.
Merridith speaks very highly of the support she got during this awful time but still struggles daily with her sisters passing. I am inspired by Merridith’s positive outlook on life even after losing her sibling, something I couldn’t ever imagine. The strength Merridith shows every day, as a super-mum to our baby boy, will help me get through this gruelling event with a smile on my face.
Hopefully we can raise more money for Christie’s and even more importantly, inspire others to do so. Let’s go!
