Story
2023 marks the 75th birthday of our incredible NHS. To show our appreciation of our incredible Ambulance Service personnel, we will be running, jogging, power walking (and possibly crawling) 75 miles over the course of 75 days.
We will be starting this challenge on Monday 1st May and we aim to complete it by Friday 14th July.
Who are we?
Zoe Larter is head of the South Western Ambulance Charity and Louise Walsh is the charity's Fundraising Manager. Both of us are passionate about supporting the staff and volunteers of the Ambulance Service and the communities it serves in the South West.
Our ambulance staff and volunteers really go the extra mile to keep us all safe during challenging times. Please support us to go the extra mile for them by taking on the 'Outrun an Ambulance' challenge.
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) provides emergency and urgent care across 10,000 square miles, serving over 5.5 million residents and over 20 million visitors each year. SWASFT crews deal with around 2,500 incidents a day across the South West.
Your donations will be used to provide enhanced facilities and well-being support for crew and personnel operating from Ambulance Stations in the South West of England.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
