Update: As at 17 Sept 10, Day 21 is over and we're almost there. Saturday we're at Sunderland FC then it's the big finish on Sunday with The Great North Run.

72 Engineer Regiment is conducting Exercise Tyne Agmen - 23 Marathons in 23 Days, 28 Aug 2010 - 19 Sept 2010. A distance of 550 miles.

Our route is the 15 Brigade boundaries northern most being Berwick-Upon-Tweed and southern most being Sheffield.

The main Effort of the Exercise is to engage with the local community and promote the Army. At the end of each leg a Community Engagement event will take place.

The Exercise begins with a Military Open Day on Baltic Square in Gateshead, this is intended to be a grand send off for those involved with various local Celebrities and VIP's attending.

Although the primary effort is to engage with the local community, along the way if people wish to donate money this is one of the Charities we will be supporting.

Your help and support is greatly appreciated.

So please dig deep and donate now.
