Story
During the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, York Mind's mental health services are continuing to help people.York Mind's staff team are all now working remotely to support everyone who needs us at this moment in time.This is a time where mental health support is needed more than ever - and we know that you might want to offer help.
We all know somebody who suffers at some point or another with their mental health and its more important than ever that these services are still accessible in York should they be needed.
We will be walking, running, cycling 600 miles total during the month of June. This equates to 150 miles each (5 miles or 8km a day for 30 consecutive days)
We will be tracking via Strava and Garmin connect and providing regular updates for you 😊
Although we are aiming for 600 as a minimum we will be completing as much as we physically can so watch this space 😆
Anyone who knows us, knows that we are not seasoned runners, cyclists or even keen walkers so we can assure you that this will be physically demanding for all of us!
Wish us luck!

Some examples below of what the money raised is used for;
£20- could run their online peer support community for an hour, helping people connect with others and feel less alone.
£40- could help their infoline answer calls, providing someone with vital support and information about help available for them.
£50- could help them campaign for better mental health services from the government, ensuring people get the support they need, as soon as they need it.
£100- could pay the cost of one of their infoline or legal line advisors for a whole day.
