Story
We are 5 men who are unimpressed with the size of our legs. We have grown tired of wearing skinny jeans and have decided that now is the time for change. Therefore in August we will be cycling the 900 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats. This works out at about 65 miles a day over 2 weeks.
We are raising for a number of charities but I have chosen to support Macmillan Cancer support. Having had family experience of the care Macmillan provides, I know that the work they do is invaluable in not only caring for patients but also in helping other family memebers at a difficult time.
If you'd like to read more about what Macmillan do click here: http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Aboutus/WhatWeDo/What_we_do.aspx
As an extra incentive for you at home we have set a few targets along the way:
- If we raise £500, then none of us will shave untill October.
- If we raise £1000, we will cycle one of the days in speedos only.
- If we raise £1500, we will paint ourselves each a different colour on the speedo day.
- If we raise £2500, we will go further and shave our heads to a number two.
- If we raise £3000, we are open to suggestions.
Basically if we get this perfectly right, you will see a photo of 5 bald, bearded, colourful guys wearing speedos on bicycles.
