Remember Remember the 5K November

So today, when I am writing this, is the 1st November 2018 and it is Hubba's birthday. He was a good friend of mine and really was one of a kind. He was a source of inspiration not only to me but others so I've wanted to do something for him since he left us. Owing to his condition he was unable to take on any other challenges as he would have liked following his epic John O'Groats to Lands End bike ride.
This is where I have decided to do something and as today is his birthday thought it presented a great opportunity to start a challenge in his memory.
So, I have decided to run a minimum of 5k every day during the month of November.
Why is this a challenge?
1 - I'm not a runner (tried and failed many times) recently having started again but already it's becoming difficult to keep it up.
2 - I struggle to get 2 runs in a week if I'm lucky, nevermind string 30 together in succession. For example - my last run was 7 days ago!
3 - Not sure my knees are up to it. Just had a week off for knee pain.
4 - Just never have the time or motivation to get out regularly, especially when tired, busy or the weather is shocking. Maybe this will add the extra incentive.
5 - It's been a while since I truly challenged myself
6 - It's been a while since I did anything for Barnsley Hospice which is a truly great cause close to Hubba's heart
7 - As Hubba says if it's not going to challenge you why do it
So I'm going to give this a good crack and see how it goes. It will take a bad injury to stop me running and failure is not an option. I'll post my run every day here and also follow me on Strava.
