Story
We are playing a 57 hour, world record football match aiming to raise £10,000 for the Meningitis Trust.
This will smash the previous world record of 42 hours, and is equivalent to playing 38 matches, a full premiership season, in one go. We've only got 36 players so will each be playing around 30 hours, and will be sleeping pitchside in order to officially beat the world record.
The money raised will go into the Jamie Burdett tribute fund held at the Meningitis Trust, in memory of Jamie who passed away from meningitis three years ago. One team is named the Leeds Badgers in recognition of the team Jamie played for at university. Please donate and help us to make a real difference for a very important charity.
