Story
Help a Hospital's current project is fundraising for vital equipment for Bonthe Hospital in Sierra Leone. Starting on the 13th May, our team will be fundraising for this project by collectively cycling the equivalent distance from London to Sherbro (Bonthe) Island: 5,600km.
The event will be done on two stationary bikes and is estimated to take 15 hours-worth of cycling per day for 14 days, and will culminate with a 48-hour Cycleathon for the final push.
Bonthe Hospital is in desperate need of help. Home to 60,000 people, the island is lacking the equipment needed for life-saving surgery, such as abdominal surgery instruments required for Caesarean sections. The hospital also requires extremely basic, essential equipment, including stethoscopes, headlamps and an oxygen concentration machine.
With your help we can provide Bonthe Hospital with the tools to save countless lives. Please donate anything you can. Thank you.
