The NHS offers a version of PrEP that contains the drugs Tenofovir Disoproxil and Emtricitabine FTC. People with certain medical conditions cannot take this medicine.

There is an alternative form of PrEP they can use to protect themselves from HIV. However it is not available through the NHS. Many people cannot afford to buy it privately. ‘56 Dean Street’ is raising money to support people who cannot afford to buy it.

A donation of £15 will give someone a month's protection from HIV.
