Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving pageThese Wheels Were Made for Pushing.

After spending the last year in lockdown with the Covid 19 Pandemic and been restricted to a 5km radius I thought to myself how many kms I could do in a month without leaving my 5km restriction  I have set myself a Goal of 200km between April 9th and June 30th all Proceeds are going towards the  great work Aware  are doing-especially during this time I don't think there is anybody who has not been affected by what is happing at the moment. On a very personal level it has affected me. I am now in a much better place in my life and I am very grateful to my family and friends  during this last year who were there to support me along my Journey.  The next chapter of my life is just beginning. KEEP SMILING Simon. I need to explain why I end most of my messages text and emails with KEEP SMILING its because one of my favourite songs is That's What Friends Are For, by Dionne Warwick and Friends, it is a song that has inspired me along my journey in life through the good and the not so good times along with Something Inside So Strong by Labie Sifrie. For those who know me Music plays a big part in my daily life. It will be my companion on my daily Push. Thank you all for your support to me over my life this far.

IF YOU CAN MEET WITH TRIUMPH AND DISASTER AND TREAT THOSE TWO IMPOSTERS JUST THE SAME.:

IF YOU CAN MAKE ONE HEAP OF ALL YOUR WINNININGS   AND RISK IT ON ONE TURN OF PITCH - TOSS,  AND LOSE, AND START AGAIN AT YOUR BIGINNINGS AND NEVER BREATH A WORD ABOUT YOUR LOSS: IF YOU CAN FORCE YOUR HEART AND NEVER AND SINEW TO SERVE YOUR TURN LONG AFTER THEY ARE GONE, AND SO HOLD ON WHEN THERE IS NOTHING IN YOU  EXCEPT THE WILL WHICH SAYS TO THEM::' HOLD' ON!

IF YOU CAN FILL THE UNFORGIVING MINUTE WITH SIXTY SECONDS' WORTH OF DISANCE RUN, YOURS IS THE EARTH AND EVERYTHING THAT IS IN IT,  AND - WHICH IS MORE-YOU'LL BE A MAN, MY SON.
