Walk 500 Miles · 1 August 2020

Get active and raise money for community based organisations in Norfolk supporting children, teenagers and young adults with mental ill health, learning disabilities and autism.

Story

We are taking part in Sir Norman Lamb and Norfolk Community Foundation's 'Walk 500 Miles' challenge to raise funds for his Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund. Our Mum told us about it and we wanted to take part and as it is the Summer holidays and we haven’t got school anymore we thought it would be fun.

In August we are going to complete 500 miles by walking and going on bike rides. Our Mum and Dad are doing it too and we are going to add our miles together. We are going to try our hardest.

Norman is a very kind man who is trying to make sure children have someone to look after them when they need it. Our fundraising will go to places that are looking after children and young people when they are struggling with their mental health, have learning disabilities and autism.

Any money that you can sponsor us with will mean Norman can help lots of people.
