Story

Marcus Stewart is known across the Westcountry for his goals - and there's one which sticks in the memory of his time in a Yeovil Town shirt.

His 87th minute goal in the League One play-off semi-final at Nottingham Forest in May 2007, he headed a goal which took the Glovers in to extra time, in a match we famously went on to win.

His goal put Yeovil 3-1 up, in a game which finished 5-2 to Yeovil and saw us make it to Wembley for the first time in our history.

Since announcing his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease, a condition which affects a person's nerves in the brain and spinal cord, Marcus has dedicated himself to raising money for the Darby Rimmer Foundation and Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust want to help Marcus in his latest battle.
