Story
Three months ago, Alex had a rather mad (but not unusual) idea to try and set a world record doing something running related. He enlisted the support of three friends, namely Ethan, Toby and Bradley.
The result of ideas and planning was the decision to try and run four marathons in four countries in under 24 hours. Starting in Wales, the team then travel to Kendal (Eng), up to the east coast of Scotland and then over on the ferry to finish in Belfast.
With Guinness currently casting their eyes over whether to make this an official Guinness WR attempt, the team set to work finding supporters and making it a reality. As part of this, an important part of the whole attempt is to raise awareness for mental health, particularly in young men.
Our challenge will be as much physical as mental (a 3am marathon in rainy Scotland isn't fun), and so we have partnered up with Mind. They are a wonderful team and we're excited about coming onboard with us.
Mind are one of the UK's oldest and largest mental health charities, providing much needed support and assistance to those struggling with issues.
With any donation amount large or small, we are very thankful of the support x
