Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, it has been an amazing response which has far exceeded our expectations. On Sunday 13th April two naive, ill prepared novices became veteran Marathon runners, well, not quite but certainly battle scarred! We managed to fight the fatigue, withstand the elements and with great support from the crowds, we completed the 26.2 mile course in;

3 hrs, 23mins and 29secs (Brett) and 4hrs, 19mins and 4secs (David)

We ran in memory of Georgie Robinson; Brett’s youngest sister and David’s sister-in law and to raise money for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, a charity that we chose as a family as Georgie spent so much of her life working with children as a swimming teacher and the Rainbow Trust is a charity that provides much needed support for families who may have to face the reality of losing a child.
