Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I sadly lost Basil in September to bone cancer. He was an amazing boy and the perfect doggy companion. He was only 7 years old and so it was completely out of the blue. I knew straight away I wanted to do something to raise money in his name. There are a few photos of him in the gallery above if you click the route map.

He loved running around the fields and his agility classes, so some sort of running challenge seemed the best option. I'm not a runner so this is going to be a very big challenge. Until now, I have only run when I hear the bell for last orders!

I've given myself 6 months to train for it and will be tracking my training with Strava if you want to follow me.

I have chosen the Dogs Trust for obvious reasons! They do fantastic work in looking after and rehoming dogs.
