Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Pete was a great guy, totally non PC but always had a smile on his face. You could tell when he arrived at work - all the corny jokes started to appear on the phone or computer.
Sadly just before his 50th birthday he was diagnosed with a terminal cancer, and a couple of weeks after his 50th he passed away.
He spent the last few weeks of his life in the Marie Curie hospice in Bradford, where he was able to die with dignity and in relative comfort.
The only way I can do something is to run a marathon in his memory and I will be complting (I hope) the Yorkshire Marathon in York on October 12.
All the sponsorship I can raise will go to Marie Curie Cancer care which will enable others to spend their final days in pleasent surroundings.
I hope you can help, thanks for reading this.
