Fundraising for Crisis

How the journey began...
...We were sitting in the pub one evening, as you do, when Mandip shared with Jag and I that she wanted to climb Mount Snowdon (this was after a few drinks). We all decided it was a great idea and at the time we felt like athletes, up for a challenge. "No problem, we can do this ppfff". Thought nothing of it. Sssooo Mandip then set a date and now we have to do it! Sunday 4th August is the big day!!!
Along with this challenge we thought it would be a great idea to raise some money for Crisis. As there has been a growing problem with homelessness around the UK. Crisis was formed in 1967, as an urgent response to the growing homelessness and campaigned for change. Over the years Crisis has accomplished many things to help those in need. Crisis support people out of homelessness for good. They do this through education, training and support with housing, employment and health. Last year Crisis helped more than 11,300 people on their journey out of homelessness. With Crisis supporters they secured new political commitments to tackle homelessness. Rough sleeping is forecast to rise by 76% in the next decade unless the Government takes action to tackle it.
